Smiley receptionists – your first contact with GPtents

When you first arrive to GPtents, you are greeted by our staff at the reception – they direct you to the short term parking lot and offer you a welcome drink

Our staff is always smiling and happy to help with anything, so do not hesitate to ask them anything you need to know during your stay! You can easily recognize the GPtents crew by the STAFF T-Shirt and a name tag

Each name tag should tell you what languages the staff speak – each member of the crew speaks English, Czech and Slovak, you'll also find German speaking staff, some of them speak French, Italian and Spanish too.

On a rare occasion, you might find someone speaking Finnish, Polish, Hungarian, Danish, Russian and many other languages.

Note that even though our staff speaks and feels more comfortable mainly in English, they really try their best to speak to you in your native tongue. Please be patient as they do not speak your language fluently and might need you to speak slowly and use easy phrases.

Check-in is a 3 step procedure

First thing you need to do is to fill in a registration card for each person staying in the camp. This is to make sure we have the data needed for the authorities of the municipality (for tax purposes, foreign police, etc).

After you’re done with your registration card, you can move on to the reception. It is a big black container where the cashier is. There you tell us your name and booking number, pay the 100 euro deposit for each tent or camping pitch and pay for the rest of the services if you haven’t done it already.

A 100 euro deposit needs to be paid in cash for any damages that might happen to the tent or camping pitch you have booked. You have to pay the deposit per tent or camping pitch you have booked, meaning if you have booked 3 tents, you have to pay 300 euros.

Once you check out and we see no damage has been done to the tent, its equipment, there’s no garbage or anything left on the camping pitch and you have not broken any rules, we will hapilly give you your deposit back.

We have established a price list based on prior experience and according to what kind of damage was done, we charge you a certain amount of money. Usually we take it out of your deposit.

When you‘re done with your payment, our colleague will issue you a deposit check with your name on it – it is important for you not to lose it. You then take the deposit check and go to our lovely receptionists at their desks behind the cashier.

The receptionist will need to see the deposit check and perhaps any receipt you received at the cashier. They will check your reservation and assign you a tent or a camping pitch. They write the number of the tent or camping pitch on the issued deposit check and give it back to you.

The receptionist reminds you once more not to lose your deposit check and will advise you to take a picture of it on your smartphone just in case.

Then they will hand out the welcome pack with a map of the campsite and explain everything you need to know. WHAT'S IN THE WELCOME PACK?

That’s it, you’re all set!

Anything you need, anytime

Our reception is open all day and all night, so whenever you need something, come up to us! Even at three in the morning!

If the reception is closed for any reason, a phone number will be displayed – you can call it and somebody will run up to you!

Whether you have trouble with anything, have any questions, would like to get or borrow something, come and see if we can help you. There’s a 99 % chance we can, and we will!

Especially if there is any problem with your accommodation, come as soon as possible so we can solve the issue for you!

Checking out – goodbye and drive safe!

FOR HOTEL TENTS GUESTS

The latest you can check out as a Hotel Tents guest is 10 am. How to check out properly?

Simply pack all of your stuff from the tent and put them in your car/on your bike/take them with you.

Take the lock from inside the tent, your deposit check and come to reception.

You cannot come back to the tent after you've been checked out at the reception. Our staff is emptying the tent right after and taking it down.

At the reception, just give the receptionist your tent lock and your deposit check. The receptionist will then check your reservation in our booking system, confirm the tent number and call or text the staff to check the tent.

The staff then “runs” to the tent, checks if you haven't forgotten anything in there and that nothing of our equipment is missing. They also check for any damages inside or outside the tent.

If everything is alright, the receptionist will give you your 100 euro cash deposit back.

Please note that if anything happens during your stay to the tent or to the equipment, it is always better to notify us immediately. Usually we can find a way to fix smaller damages without charging you a fee. It is all about being honest and discussing things kindly.

After that you're done and you can hop into your car/ on your motorbike and drive home!

FOR CAMPING GUESTS

If you have booked your accommodation till Sunday, you can do the check-out as late as 6pm. On Monday, we close the campsite at 11 am, so it is important to do the check out before then.

First pack all of your stuff and put them in your vehicle – nothing except your car/bike/caravan/motorhome can be left on the camping pitch! Once you've cleaned everything, put the trash in the waste container and left the pitch green and empty, you can  come to the reception.

At the reception, just give the receptionist your deposit check. The receptionist will then check your reservation in our booking system, confirm the pitch number and call or text the staff to check the pitch.

The staff then “runs” to the pitch, checks if you haven't forgotten anything  there and that nothing has happened to the pitch.

If everything is alright, the receptionist will give you your 100 euro cash deposit back.

You can then go pick up your vehicle and drive out the camp – have a safe journey home!
