Hotel Tents or Camping – choose your experience

Once you are done at the reception, you can head to your place to accommodate yourself. GPtents offers either a pre-built and fully equipped tent (suitable for those who like their luxury) or an empty camping pitch where you can set up your own tent or park a caravan, motorhome or a campervan (fit for those who want the full camping experience!).

HOTEL TENTS

This service includes:

  • A pre-built tent ready for you arrival
  • The option of booking a camping set (a table with two chairs)
  • Two mattresses
  • Two duvets
  • Two pillows
  • Two towels
  • A camping light
  • A trash can HOW DO WE KEEP OUR CAMP TIDY AND CLEAN
  • A tent lock
  • A hotel-quality luxurious continental breakfast
  • A parking spot at the GPtents parking lot near the forest

The Hotel Tents service is like no other and is very popular with GPtents guests. No wonder the tents sell out quickly! Go get yourself one before it’s too late!

CAMPING

For those who want the full camping experience during the Austrian Grand Prix, GPtents recommends booking an empty camping pitch.

What are your options:

  • A SMALL camping pitch of 21 m2 fits 3 people, one tent, no car
  • A MEDIUM camping pitch of 42 m2 fits 5 people, 1 car plus a tent OR 1 caravan
  • A LARGE camping pitch of 50 m2 fits 5 people, 1 car plus a tent OR 1 bigger caravan
  • Booking an electrical power supply
  • Booking an extra parking spot for your second car

To ensure comfort, GPtents recommends booking a large camping pitch, especially if your caravan is 7 meters long and weighs 5 tons, which is the maximum the large camping pitch can fit.

FAQ: Can I choose the location of my camping pitch myself?

GPtents assigns the camping pitches upon your arrival. It is first come first serve, so come as early as you can to set up your camping equipment on the best camping spot!

Dinner is available for both the Hotel Tents and Camping guests. GPtents sets up a restaurant where the chef prepares a la carte street food menu daily from 5 pm to 10 pm.

There is also a bar where you can choose from a variety of hot, cold, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks every day, all day.

Need to charge your phone? You can find plugs in the community tent or borrow a powerbank at the reception desk. The receptionists are available all day and night!

Hygiene is the priority

As hygiene is GPtents‘ highest priority, the camp offers flushing toilets and showers with hot water guaranteed on site. There is also a 24 hour cleaning service and sinks both inside the cabins and outside the facilities.

GPtents always makes sure the area is clean, so the staff goes around the camp several times a day to take out the trash and pick it up from around the tents.

Security – check!

GPtents includes 24 hour security, so the site is completely safe and secured. The night security staff makes sure the camp is quiet during quiet hours (no big parties allowed) and monitors any inconvenient activity. The day security staff manages the parking situation, watches the cars and picks up garbage around the camp. YOU ARE ALWAYS SAFE AND SOUND IN GPTENTS

Walking distance to the circuit

The camp is located approximately 20 minutes away from the main entrance to the Red Bull Ring. It is the biggest and closest camp on the Red Bull Ring, which means you can easily take a nice walk there.

In case you don’t fancy walks, you can call a taxi or take the shuffle bus offered by the SPAR shop. It is in service the whole race weekend and it goes every 20 minutes from 7 am to 5 pm.
